Our Classroom Workshops are designed to specifically target LGV Drivers. We have developed a number of workshops however should our range of products not meet your business's needs our development team are always on hand to support in creating the required solution.

Drink and Drug Driving

Getting behind the wheel while under the influence of drink or drugs can have catastrophic results for Drivers and passengers and can ruin lives. Educating people of the dangers is key to preventing incidents in the future. The pitfalls of drink and drug driving are plentiful so ensure your business is protected from risk and that your Drivers are safe when out on the UK roads.

Mobile Phone Use

The number of instances of collisions caused by Drivers using mobile phones continues to rise in the UK. As a result, tougher penalties have been introduced. Make sure your business does not fall victim to the crackdown and ensure you are meeting your duty of care to employees and other road users. This is a positive workshop session that will help Drivers identify and manage the factors that make them more likely to use a mobile phone while driving.

Tachograph Infringements

Transport Operators must have a system in place that regularly check Driver tachograph records to ensure the laws on Driving Hours and Tachographs are being complied with (as required under the Operator Licence). Results of these checks (tachograph analysis) are normally communicated by infringement reports. This workshop has been designed to help those who process these reports understand the importance and actions required following any infringements. The course includes detailed information on Driver’s Hours, Tachographs & Working Time (RTR) rules and where relevant, industry best practice.

Digital Tachographs

This workshop will increase the Driver’s knowledge and understanding of digital tachographs and the rules and regulations connected to its use. This course will be tailored to you requirements in terms of what type of Tachograph you operate within your fleet (Siemens or Stoneridge).

Hazard Awareness

This expert course aims to provide delegates with an understanding of the potential effects and consequences of poor hazard awareness. Our classroom training is recognised as one of the most effective ways of reducing driver-related incidents.

Speeding

This workshop is suitable for any Driver – even if they have never been caught speeding. It offers knowledge, tips and expert opinion on how to manage speed in modern vehicles and investigates why so many Drivers speed. Our course aims to change Driver behaviour by examining the motivations behind speeding and stressing the potential consequences.
